October Horrorfest! Exorcismus and Pollo al Limon Ajo

It’s October, and that means it’s time for horror movies! So instead of doing Bridesmaids (like I promised last week), we’re going to do a month of scary movies (or at least what Neflix’s mysterious genre organizer claims are horror movies). This week, we watched a 2010 horror film from Spain called “Exorcismus” that features Doug Bradley (for like five minutes). For those who don’t know, which is probably everyone, Doug Bradley is best known for being Pinhead from the Hellraiser films.

Too-Hot-for-Heaven Chicken Strips with a legion (lot) of spicy onion rings and Legion (movie)

This week, we post late and lose pictures!
Yes, that’s right. We’re only a month in and yet we still manage to miss one of our days. But hey, this one’s a good post, I promise! You just, you know, can’t see any pictures because we don’t have them anymore. Sadface. We deep fried some chicken and onion rings and watched Legion.

Cinnamerian Steak, Carrots Morgan, and Conan the Barbarian

In 1982, a young Austrian was cast in the lead role of a movie based on Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian. This movie was extremely well received, becoming an action movie classic, and it would also catapult the relative unknown actor into super-stardom, ending in a role as Governor of California. Nearly thirty years later, Hollywood’s at it again with a new Conan the Barbarian film.
